Volkswagen’s long-term plans with HP’s technology involve accelerating manufacturing processes for mass-customizable parts like key rings and exterior name plates.

Volkswagen, one of the world’s largest and most innovative vehicle makers, has adopted HP Metal Jet in order to produce high-performance functional parts with specific structural requirements, such as gearshift knobs and mirror mounts.
